You obviously have no argument. Just admit your precious junior doctors are as greedy as your evil tory nemeses and move forward.

You've never off here Mashed, repeating the same obsessed drivel.
I reckon it's because you're a bitter loner in a city full of LEFTY Scouse scum.

If you consider working weekends to be so undesirable that you want more money for it then you shouldn't have become a medical professional.

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
Even for WHO the levels of ill informed bollocks being sprouted by plasterers is remarkable. You did claim that junior docs earn 200k.

It's not about pay it's about conditions, quality of an already over stretched service and weekend work not being paid the same as a weekday.

I suppose you'd be happy to be forced to work weekends for the same rate as a weekday by some rich Old Etonian?

TORIES TORIES TORIES AAARRRGGGHH!!!

Where's this money gonna come from then which will magically make everything better? And how long til they decide again that it's not enough and they decide to abandon their oath in order to let people die so they get more money?

Hopefully we don't sicken you so much that you have to go to hospital where you don't get operated on cos some Tarquin didn't bother showing up for work cos he's on strike cos he wants more money.

I never said they were ya bellend. I said that's what they can earn when qualified. You're a bit thick ain't ya.

Aren't those junior doctors getting backed by those doctors in this though?

Surely if they were in the wrong then they (doctors) would not back them?

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
A consultant is not a junior doctor moron.
A junior doctor can have 10 years experience.
They earn upto 70k not 200k you fucking moron.
They also pay university fees to train.

You are an idiot.

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
JRs are on 28-40k
Consultants 60k

Less than the WHO average, allegedly

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
Listen Brentford you fckwit I've already told you a mate of mine runs a health care trust. They earn well over that. A consultants basic is 100k.

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
Doctors do a very specialised and important job and are paid accordingly.

Junior doctors obviously not as much.

The clue is in the "junior".

Stop making out they're treated like shit.

They're humans like the rest of us and are stamping their feet to get more money.

The difference between us and them is that people will likely die in order for them to make their point.

stoneman 12:59 Sun Sep 4
Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
They get the best training in the world for nothing and after a few years they fuck off to the private sector so is it too much to ask them to work a few years for the NHS?

It's the nurses that need more money not these mummy's boys.

1) Who's died?

Side of Ham 12:58 Sun Sep 4
Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
I know someone who's just left an NHS Acute Assessment Unit as a Nurse, money wasn't terrible, but it was so understaffed to the point only highly experienced staff can cope with the situation and get quickly burnt out, newbies are left with for too much responsibility and often there is more security there to deal with druggies and alcholics. After that they can be dismissed or worse sent to prison for making the effort to carry on
in these conditions and eventually fuck up with no back up.

If healthcare staff in general are dodging this career path how can you judge on what's enough to be paid seeing as the vast majority calling them cunts wouldn't have the guts to do the job?

This situation applies to the doctors and more of them are leaving too.

13 Brentford Rd 12:57 Sun Sep 4
Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
They don't earn anything like that you fucking moron.

mashed in maryland 12:56 Sun Sep 4
Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
That's what they signed up for brenty.

If they didn't wanna work long hours they shouldn't have become doctors.

Becoming a medical professional and moaning about long hours is like becoming a scaffolder and moaning about heights.

Being a doctor is a noble profession no doubt, but all that flies out the window once they start abandoning their oaths and letting people die to get more money.

Hayzer 12:55 Sun Sep 4
Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
No.. As I won't be earning £200 k a year at the end of it.
